This cold pack conforms with the specific ANSI Z308.1-2015 requirements for cold packs in first aid supply uses: Each cold pack shall be at least 4 x 5 in. (10 x 12.5 cm) in size and shall reach a temperature between 20 - 40°F (-6 - 4°C) within 10 seconds of activation and shall maintain this temperature for a period of at least 10 minutes. Cold packs shall activate under normal hand pressure and shall not leak under normal conditions of use.
Store in a cool, dry place. May be harmful if swallowed.
We prefer the urea and water cold packs to the older ammonium nitrate as these are non-hazardous, and can be express shipped when necessary (although shipping for any cases of cold packs is expensive, as they have high liquid content, so it becomes comparable to shipping a box of water!)

Returns and shortage requests are accepted within 60 days from the time the order is placed. Any returns and/or shortages should be reported at support@quakekits.com within 60 days of the order placement to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
Option 1: You would like to return a full kit(s). We will send you a RMA and process your refund to the original payment method once we receive the product back in our fulfillment center.
Option 2: You would like to replace a defective item(s) or request a shorted item(s). If an item(s) is defective or shorted, Quake Kits will replace the item and pay for the return (if needed) and replacement shipping. Quake Kits will not accept any returns for shipments outside the continental United States.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
